Dural Rose Farm — Stage-Based Fertiliser Program
CompleteGrow implemented a stage-optimised feeding program for a commercial
cut-rose producer in Dural, NSW. The objective was to align nutrient delivery with each growth phase — from early shoot push to colour set and post-cut recovery — using tailored NPK ratios that maintain injector clarity and keep stems strong through continuous harvest.
Each phase within the program was refined to match seasonal demand and plant response, maintaining balanced growth without excess nitrogen. By moderating potassium and calcium during the colour-set stage, growers achieved firmer petals, deeper hues, and stronger stems suited to long-distance transport.
Over the course of the program, feeding remained steady and precisely tuned to each phase of plant growth. This precision-based approach provided the grower with a more successful, data-driven fertiliser program — improving yield output, stem strength, and overall flower quality. Tailoring nutrition to each growth stage ensured uniform development, vibrant colour, and consistent production across every harvest cycle.
