Why plant owners choose it

Made for cacti & succulents: a 2-7-7 blend developed for desert plants rather than leafy houseplants.

Low nitrogen, on purpose: encourages balanced growth without pushing excessive soft foliage.

Higher phosphorus & potassium: supports root development, flowering and stronger overall growth.

Includes trace elements: helps replace micronutrients that potting mix can lose over time.

Two simple feeding options: use half a cap per 10L when feeding every watering, or one full cap when feeding once or twice a month.

Don’t overwater. Cacti and succulents like to dry out. Let the potting mix dry before the next watering, and feed as you water.

3. Mix: secure the lid and gently mix the bottle.

6. Rinse: flush the bottle and sprayer thoroughly with clean water after use.

Cactus and succulent feeding tips

Feed only when watering is needed: do not add an extra watering just to fertilise.

Feed during active growth: most cacti and succulents use more nutrients in spring and summer. Reduce feeding when growth slows.

Use free-draining potting mix: containers must have drainage holes so water does not sit around the roots.

Adjust for your conditions: pot size, potting mix, temperature and light all affect how quickly plants dry.

Important: don’t overwater. For most cacti and other succulents, allow the potting mix to dry out before the next watering. Check the mix rather than watering to a fixed calendar.
FAQ
How much do I mix?
  • Regular feeding: Half a cap per 10L of water.
  • Monthly feeding: 1 full cap per 10L of water.
How often should I feed?

Feed regularly during spring and summer using half a cap per 10L, or use 1 full cap per 10L if feeding monthly. Reduce or stop feeding during winter when growth slows.

Suitable for cacti, succulents, aloe, jade plants and other similar low-feeding plants.

Can I use it on indoor succulents?

Yes. Avoid overwatering and reduce feeding during winter.

The ā€œLove My Cactusā€ Fertiliser, which was mainly purchased for my Succulents, as I’d researched all available Fertiliser that was both suitable for my succulents & also the most cost effective, as I have quite a lot, & it was one I could use regularly. The Seller transaction was extremely effortless, it arrived earlier than expected & was packaged extremely well, so it didn’t spill. I’d definitely recommend this Seller & wouldn’t hesitate to use again. AAAA++++

What NPK 2-7-7 Means (Cactus & Succulent)

A low-nitrogen, phosphorus- and potassium-forward cactus fertilizer that keeps growth compact, supports strong roots and helps blooms and overall resilience without forcing soft, leggy tissue.

  • Made for cacti & succulents: Aloe, echeveria, haworthia, jade, euphorbia and desert cacti benefit from gentle, balanced feeding.
  • Compact growth: Low N (2) discourages stretch; higher P & K (7-7) back root strength, buds, colour and stress tolerance.
  • Easy routine: Apply to moist, free-draining media; feed lightly during active seasons and reduce in winter dormancy.

NPK 2-7-7 delivers modest nitrogen for steady chlorophyll production without forcing soft, water-rich tissue. The elevated phosphorus encourages root development and bloom initiation, while potassium regulates water movement, enzyme activity and firmness—key for drought-tolerant species that prefer compact growth and sturdy epidermis.

  • Use: Best for gritty, fast-draining mixes (pumice/perlite/sand). Water first, then feed so nutrients move evenly through the root zone.
  • Frequency: Light, infrequent feeding in spring–summer; minimal to none in cool, low-light months.
  • Care tips: Avoid overwatering; allow media to dry between irrigations. Flush occasionally to prevent salt build-up. Pair with bright light for compact form.
